Hood River East Side Gravel/Paved Loop - Advanced

The best mixed-surface ride around! Start on rolling, paved roads through the orchards on the East Side of Hood River then go up, up, and away into the woods on Fir Mountain Road. Hit the gravel at about mile 10 and gear up for a descent down Huskey and Wilson Road and into the more arid town of Mosier where you can fuel up at Mosier Company or take a dip in the Columbia River at Rock Creek Beach. Back on the pavement now, you'll ride the car-free Historic Columbia River Highway where scenic overlooks, waterfalls, and history abound! 
CAUTION: This ride takes you to a remote area with no services, limited cell coverage, and unpaved roads. Be prepared with water, snacks, and a repair kit.
