Story

Capital Heights neighborhood. ALWAYS someone walking and biking.
Webb Park neighborhood. And look! No one parked in the bike lanes!!
Great trail through City Park!
University Lake by LSU. No pelicans out today, sadly.
New bike lanes on LSU’s campus! Getting to be a solid bike-friendly university
Shaq!
New WIDE path next to campus. perfect for students going to class.
Brand new green bike lanes for the Downtown Greenway!
Baton Rouge has a rich public art tradition. This is one of many murals in Old South Baton Rouge
Perfect little neighborhood pocket park to rest at to end the ride.
By year’s end, Government Street will have bike lanes!
Newest mural by the Walls Project!
Downtown Greenway. This really is a gem!
New segment of Downtown Greenway!
The Mighty Mississippi!
Tiger Sadium! Geaux Tigahs!!
The Garden District has the best live oak canopy in town!
This is my favorite ride because it utlilizes some of the best bike infrastructure in town in a way that it’s all pretty-well connected. Much of Baton Rouge is inaccessible by bike to all but the most experienced and confident. This route can be done by anyone. Plus...the scenery! City Park, The Lakes, AThe River, Downtown, the Garden District...you can’t beat it! Sometimes I take this ride slow, sometimes fast, but I always feel better after. #yeahbike!
