Northshore to Missionary Ridge

Riding along Missionary Ridge offers expansive views of downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain in the distance. From north Chattanooga, you can take the riverwalk to avoid busier roads, then ride through the Glass Street neighborhood. Many people overlook Glass Street or write it off as "the wrong side of the tracks" but it's such a vibrant community. 

From there, you'll head uphill. It's challenging, but the climb isn't too long. And trust me, the view is worth it. The road along the ridge is typically pretty quiet and relaxing. 

Once you come down the other side, take Main Street all the way to the south end of the riverwalk and wind your way back across the river. I love this loop because it's a great way to see all the different sides of the city.
