Story

Stay Healthy and Safe
Today begins National Bike Month and National Month for Mental Health. Personally mental health and biking go hand in hand especially now when it feels like there are so many limitations in our daily life. There's nothing quite like grabbing the bike and getting away from the need for masks, worrying about 6' of space, and just being able to deeply breathe the country air.
Typically riding through the rolling hills of Central Kentucky provides epic views of horse farms, hay fields, and barns with a quilted patch adorning one side. Honestly, I'm still a little nervous riding narrow country roads where extra wide diesel trucks barrel around corners way too fast. I'm currently working on that fear by starting my ride on a few miles of lesser used country roads and transitioning back to marked bike lanes within the city.
