Story

On this ride you will experience the beautiful park complex of Howarth City Park, Spring Lake County Park, and Annadel State park. You'll travel up the Santa Rosa Creek watershed, then enter the Sonoma Creek watershed as you head into the old railroad stop community of Kenwood. The turn-around point at 12 miles features a fine market and pub restaurant, and nice benches to sit on under the oaks while you partake (but not of the beer outside!)

This is an out-and-back route -- just remember how you got there and retrace your route back to the start.
Snacks and beverages await.
Possibly the nicest parking lot in the county!
"American style brewery and gastropub focused on great food and breaking the barrier between beer drinkers and wine drinkers. "
This is the watershed boundary spot: Water to the left flows west down Santa Rosa Creek, while water to the right flows south and east down Sonoma Creek. We all live in a watershed! That's Hood Mountain County Regional Park rising up in the distance. Oh, and somebody's vineyard in the foreground.
Adobe Canyon Road is a challenging side trip and hill climb to beautiful Sugarloaf Ridge State Park (seen rising up in the distance)
Picturesque Channel Drive runs along the northern boundary of Annadel State Park. This is the spot where you dismount and cross the footbridge across the creek to Stone Bridge Road.
Santa Rosa Creek is worth a stop for a look from the bridge!
