Story

Take a ride to one of the over 60 microbreweries in Chicago. On this ride we will roll from Earth Rider in the Bucktown neighborhood to Half Acre Brewery, home of Daisy Cutter and other fine brews. Out destination will be their Balmoral Taproom in the Andersonville neighborhood at 2050 W Balmoral Ave. This location has an outdoor beer garden and kitchen. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
We start out on the elevated 606 trail heading east towards the lake. After the trail ends we bike on Courtland Ave. over the Chicago River through the future Lincoln Yards development into the Lincoln Park neighborhood and the DePaul University campus.
Half Acre Brewery has two locations in Chicago with the Balmoral tap room in Andersonville the newest. This is one of their production facilities where the beer is made so they have a changing menu of new creations you can sample.
You order your food and drink at a window and grab a seat at a picinic bench in the huge beer garden. There is plenty of free bike parking.
