Story

This is a big climbing ride leaving from Sincere Cycles in downtown Santa Fe. Make sure you have plenty of water heading out + take a stop at the Tesuque general store for a cold drink before you start your big climb out of the valley. Once you get into the Santa Fe Nat'l Forest, there are ample shady + creek rest stops to sink a beer can or splash your face (during the spring - maybe not during the summer months). Take it easy on this one and enjoy the climb + beautiful nature surrounding you!

The descent is fast, paved and narrow. Make sure your brakes are in good shape, take the lane when you need to + watch for pedestrians and cars. If you're a fast descender, it's likely that you'll catch up to a few cars. If you follow my route directly, you'll cut off onto some single track that drains into Santa Fe. It's rocky, so be careful!

Steep + rocky in sections
Some of the biggest aspens I've ever seen in Aspen Meadow
More beautiful dirt to climb
Can't get enough
Ripping road descent back into Santa Fe
Got a flat after taking a detour on some singletrack that ends near town. Bonus: saw this sweet old car.
